Goal

Goals:

The goals of this project are to help students get skills in using the library to do research and also to properly reference their sources.

Task:

The students are tasked to make a Google Slideshow presentation which has a maximum of 8 slides. One of the slides has to be the bibliography for their sources.

How will students accomplish this:

The students will work in groups of 3 with potentially one group of two. They should share their work with each other so if one is absent, the work keeps going on. Each group has the option to choose one of the following questions:

  • What are black holes?
  • What is the big bang theory?
  • What is the life cycle of a star?
  • Are there planets outside of our solar system?
  • What is a solar eclipse?
  • How can we colonize Mars? (emphasis on living on Mars - not the travel there)
